Now that you are planning your vacation to Dollywood, it’s important to know exactly what you’re getting with your ticket purchase. The Regular Dollywood ticket does include most of the rides, attractions, and shows at the park. But there are a few experiences that have a separate fee. Let’s go over everything that is and isn’t included with the regular ticket. We’ll also cover some of the add-ons that you can purchase, including the TimeSaver Pass and VIP Guided Tour.
what’s not included on regular Dollywood ticket?
Theme Park Parking
One thing to keep in mind when you are planning your visit to Dollywood is that parking is not included in the regular ticket price unless you are a Gold or Diamond pass member. So if you are driving to the park, you will need to pay for parking separately from your ticket purchase.
The cost of parking at Dollywood varies depending on the type of vehicle you have. Standard parking for cars and motorcycles costs $22.80 per day. Oversized vehicles like RVs & trailers costs $27.35 per day. You get free RV parking if you are a Gold or Diamond pass member too. If you are going in an RV keep in mind that Dollywood’s parking lot is not available for overnight parking or camping. There is a “ Preferred parking” option available, which is next to the entrance of the park and it costs $41. Gold Passholders get a $5 discount and Diamond Passholders get a $10 discount.
certain games or activities
Besides the rides and shows that are included with your ticket, Dollywood has many games and activities through the park that have an additional fee. Some of the games are carnival style , arcade style and interactive experiences. Some examples of the games & activities that are not included in the regular Dollywood ticket are:
Carnival Games
There are different carnival style games throughout the park where visitors can test their skills and win prizes.
Arcade Games
For those who love classic arcade games, there are many locations throughout the park with different games.
Interactive Experiences
Dollywood has interactive experiences like gem mining, candle making, and my personal favorite, glass blowing. These are not included in the regular ticket price, but it can be a fun way to learn something new and take home a unique souvenir.
Souvenir Photos
Dollywood has different locations in the park where you can have your picture taken with different backgrounds & characters. These pics can be viewed for free on digital screens throughout the park, so you can choose your favorite to buy. You can buy a print or digital download. Dollywood has a photo pass called “ Memory pass”. Guests can choose between a single day pass or a multi-day pass. The Dollywood Memory Pass is a laminated card with a barcode & QR code. Any pics a Dollywood host takes can be loaded onto the card. Coasters that have on ride pics can be saved too. Remember that its an extra charge because Souvenir photos are not included in the regular Dollywood ticket.
what’s included with your regular Dollywood ticket?
All the rides & attractions are included with your ticket, except for the arcades and carnival style games that are an extra fee. There are more than 50 rides, attractions, and shows included with your ticket. Here are my personal top 5 rides:
Big Bear Mountain
This is the newest roller coaster addition at Dollywood and You can find it in the Wildwood Grove’s area of the theme park, which is also one of the newest areas. Big Bear Mountain is not only the longest roller coaster at Dollywood, but it also has moderate thrills that are perfect for families with kiddos of different ages. This triple launching family coaster is one of our favorites in the park.
Wild Eagle
The Wild Eagle at Dollywood is an intense wing coaster that gives you a bird’s eye view of the park. Reaching a height of 210 feet and speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, makes it a must-ride attraction for thrill-seekers.
Mystery Mine
Mystery Mine, a steel indoor/outdoor coaster has both an 85 foot drop AND a 95 degree drop, 2 complete inversions, and max speeds of 60 miles per hour, offering an immersive and intense adventure through dark tunnels with excellent theming and storytelling.
Dragonflier
Dragonflier is a perfect family friendly coaster, especially for kids who are a little scared to ride bigger coasters. It has speeds of 43 miles per hour and a small drop of 63.3 ft, making it an ideal balance between intensity and enjoyment for riders of all ages.
FireChaser Express
The FireChaser Express is a family friendly roller coaster with dual launches and top speed of 35 miles per hour and a thrilling drop of 72 feet, offering a fun and exciting experience for both kids and adults.
what are some Dollywood ticket add-ons?
Daily and Seasonal Refill Mugs
The Daily and Seasonal Refill Mugs are not included on the regular Dollywood ticket, they can be purchased as an add on. The Daily Refill Mug costs $16.99 and allows you to refill your mug with soft drinks all day long. This can be great if you plan on staying at the park all day & don’t want to worry about carrying bottles of water. If you plan on going back to Dollywood at some point, you can refill your mug for $1.99+tax for fountain refills and $2.99 frozen refills through the end of the 2023 season.
The Seasonal Refill Mug costs $31.99 and allows you to refill your mug for free every time you visit Dollywood during the season & $2.99 frozen refills. This is a great value if you are a pass holder.
Dollywood’s TimeSaver Pass
Another thing that’s not included in the regular Dollywood ticket is the TimeSaver Pass ( Unless you stay at Dollywood’s resorts ). This pass can be purchased as an add on to your regular ticket, and it lets you skip the regular lines at most rides and shows. This is really helpful during peak times when the park is crowded, as it can save you time waiting in line.
If you want to buy a TimeSaver Pass, you can do so at any ticket booth or Guest Services location in the park. There are 3 options available: TimeSaver, TimeSaver Plus and TimeSaver Premium. The TimeSaver gives you five ( 5 ) entries on any of the thirteen ( 13 ) TimeSaver attractions, plus priority seating at shows in participating theaters.
TimeSaver can be used on Dragonflier and Lightning Rod only once. If you plan on using the Timesaver for a show, you have to go to a TimeSaver Reservation Center and make a show reservation.
The TimeSaver Plus lets you skip the line as many times as you want on any of the thirteen.( 13) TimeSaver attractions and you have priority seating at shows in participating theaters. TimeSaver Plus can only be used on Lightning Rod once though. Show reservations have to be made in the TimeSaver Reservation Center to select your Showtime.

Splash Country water park
Splash Country is a water park that is right next to Dollywood, and since it is a different park, it has a separate admission ticket.
If you were planning on going to both parks, instead of buying separate tickets, you can buy a Dollywood ticket that includes Splash Country as an add-on. With this add-on ticket you can go to both Dollywood and Splash Country for the duration of your visit.
The current price for a regular one-day admission ticket to Splash Country is $54.95 for adults and $44.95 for children ages 4-9 and seniors aged 62+.
