Rent Strollers at Dollywood?

Stroller Rental

If you are exploring Dollywood with little adventurers or kiddos who may need a break from walking all day and didn’t bring your own stroller, renting a stroller is a must. Dollywood has both single and double strollers for rent.

The current price for a single stroller rental is $18, and a double stroller is available for $20, on a first come, first served basis. Stroller rentals at Dollywood are conveniently located at the Rental Services inside the park, which is to the left as soon as you enter after they scan your ticket.

If you leave the park and come back (even on the same day) you will need to rent the stroller again (and pay again). You should plan your day out so you do not have to leave the park if you need to rent a stroller.

Rent Wheelchairs at Dollywood?

Wheelchairs Rental

They also have manual wheelchairs available for rent at Dollywood so you or a loved one can get around and enjoy all the attractions, shows, and experiences that Dollywood has to offer. The cost for renting a standard wheelchair for the whole day is $15.

We recommend arriving at the park at least 30 minutes before it opens to join the line for first-come, first-served wheelchairs.

To make the rental process as fast and smooth as possible, Dollywood has two rental locations: The Annex location, a large tent in the parking lot to the right, before you get to the entry security check and the Rental Services building across the Ride Accessibility Center.

At any of these locations, you’ll find friendly staff members who are ready to help you with your rental process.

Rent Scooters/ECV at Dollywood?

ECV Rental

Dollywood is a big and hilly theme park, so renting an Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) can significantly enhance your experience, especially if you or a family member have any mobility issues. A standard ECV rental (currently $55) offers an easy way to navigate the park.

If you are going during the summer months, Dollywood has an ECV rental option with a canopy, priced at $70. Keep in mind, The ECV is a one-person vehicle only and the maximum weight is 400 pounds.

If you 100% need one of these and want to make sure you get one for your visit, you should reserve it in advance, especially if you are going during high season. A 48-hour advance reservation is required. 20% of the ECVs are available for reservations each day, and payment is required in advance. You can do this online here

If ECVs are sold out online, There are more ECVs available in person. There is a good chance you can rent one if you enter the park early at opening. We recommend arriving at the park at least 30 minutes before it opens to join the line for first-come, first-served ECVs.

To make the rental process as fast and smooth as possible, Dollywood has two pickup locations: The Annex location, a large tent in the parking lot to the right, before you get to the entry security check and the Rental Services building across the Ride Accessibility Center.

The friendly hosts at these locations are there to help you with ECV operation, making sure you’re comfortable with your scooter and answering any questions you have before going off to your adventure through the park.

Returning Rentals

When your day of adventure at Dollywood comes to an end, returning your rented equipment is really easy. For strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs, simply make your way back to the Rental Services area as you exit the park.

Regardless of where you picked up your ECV, it’s important to return it to the Rental Services building. So, as you head out, look for the Rental Services building building located across from the Ride Accessibility Center.

Bringing Your Own

You can definitely bring in your own stroller, wheelchair or ECV to Dollywood. If you are visiting with a baby or little explorers, i recommend bringing your own stroller. The ones you can rent at the park are hard and they don’t recline for napping or changing.

Keep in mind if you take your own stroller, you will have to fold it up if you take the tram from the parking lot to the entrance.

 Tips

  • You can only book ECV (electrical scooters) in advance online. You can’t rent Wheelchairs and Strollers in advance and these are rented out on a first come, first serve basis at the park.

  • If you are a passholder, don’t forget to sign in to your Dollywood account with your linked passes before you make your online reservations or show your pass before you rent at the park for discounts.

  • Keep in mind: If you leave the park and come back (even on the same day) you will need to rent the stroller and pay again.

Are the scooters able to fit inside the family restrooms.

    1. Hi Jon, The bathrooms are not that big so The scooter might be able to fit inside the family restrooms, but you might not be able to close the door or will probably have a hard time backing up/trying to get out of the restroom. Dollywood recommends parking your scooter right outside the restroom door so its a short walk to get inside and back out. Hope this helps!
